Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit
a website. They let a site remember things between requests or
visits — for example, keeping you logged in or remembering
a preference. "Similar technologies" covers things like

like cookies but are never sent back to the server automatically.
2. Cookies this site actually uses
zyrobit.co.za keeps cookie use to the minimum needed to run the Site securely. We do not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) anywhere on the Site.

Because these cookies are strictly necessary for the Site's basic security and functionality, South African and international guidance does not require a cookie-consent banner for them.
We also use sessionStorage
(not a cookie, and never sent to our server) purely to skip the
homepage's one-time boot animation on repeat visits within the
same browser tab session.
3. Third-party resources loaded on this site
Some assets are loaded directly from third-party content delivery networks rather than from our own server. These providers may see standard web request information (such as your IP address and browser type) when your browser fetches the file — that's normal for how the web works, separate from cookies, and we don't control what each provider does with that request data beyond what's described in their own policies.

If we add analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this page and, where required by law, add a cookie-consent mechanism before those cookies are set.
